Embedded Engineers
Reach Technologies has immediate openings for several embedded engineers to continue development of our Anti-Submarine Warfare (ASW) Software-Defined Radio (SDR) and data acquisition systems, as well as situational awareness systems based on machine learning (ML) in concert with our established team of engineers. The ideal candidates will have 3+ years of various experience developing various embedded applications, or a proven ability to quickly learn new skills on the job. These roles leverage bleeding-edge technologies to passively support the sovereignty of Canada and its NATO allies.
Responsibilities
- • Work with the product development team, developing embedded applications and systems
- • Work with our service team providing exemplary application and technical support to government and Fortune 500 customers
- • Work with the production team on process and test procedure development
- • Work with the business development department on new product opportunities and marketing collateral
Skills
- REQUIRED

- • Ability to work remotely while collaborating with a team (e.g. MS Sharepoint, MS Teams, Git, etc.)
- • Strong oral and written communications

- • Source control system experience (Git)
- • Ability to obtain a security clearance (i.e. Canadian citizenship, no foreign government ties, etc.)

- ∘ Software-Defined Radio concepts and applications
- ∘ Modulation (FM, FSK, PSK, QAM)
- • AI/ML Design:
- ∘ YOLO
- ∘ OpenCV
- ∘ Hardware acceleration
- • Read and understand hardware schematics and HDL
- • Familiarity with RF lab equipment (Spectrum analyzers, VNA, etc.)
- • Technical writing
